History

Sports awards have existed since ancient times. The first awards were made of wreaths, ribbons, oak leaves, or olive branches. In ancient times, there was only one award: the grand prize! Starting with the 1996 Olympic Games, awards for the other podium places were introduced. The top prize is gold because it is the most valuable metal. Gold symbolizes divinity and power. Silver symbolizes energy and strength, and bronze symbolizes enthusiasm and caring. There are awards for all sports, which can be personalized in a special way. This way, the sports award for an athletic achievement becomes a cherished memento.
